Our Mission

At Dockery’s Amazing Rescues, our mission is to provide for the adoption and placement of rescued cats and kittens in permanent homes. We are dedicated to the care and wellbeing of these homeless cats and to educating the public on the need to spay/neuter pets, the prevention of animal cruelty, responsible pet ownership, and actively encouraging trap-neuter-release (TNR) in our community.

We take in cats and kittens from local animal shelters in the SWFL area, rescue abandoned felines from other locations (hoarding situations and through TNR), and accept kittens and cats surrendered by owners to the extent of our resources, which greatly rely on the availability of foster homes and charitable donations. Our cats are placed in foster care for resocializing, and we regularly run adoption events to find permanent homes for them.

To rescue, nurture, and find loving homes for neonatal kittens, ensuring their well-being and advocating for responsible pet ownership through education and community involvement.
